Step back in time at Discovery Museum for a weekend of special events that will animate the museum’s award-winning collections. On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our Victorian-clad butlers entertaining you with their physics tricks. 
 
Meet the Inventors

10.30am & 2.30pm (Lasts 2 hours)

Inventions originating in Newcastle – such as the light bulb - changed the world forever. Follow the invention trail around the Museum and meet famous inventors William Armstrong and Joseph Swan. Suitable for all ages.
 
The Medi-Evil Science Show
10.30am, 11.45am, 2pm, 3.15pm (Lasts 1 hour)
Having a disease is not fun - coughing, sneezing and vomiting are generally not good things. Join the deranged, time travelling Doctor Death Simon Watt as he attempts to ‘cure’ you of a fictional ailment. But be warned, in the past treatments could be worse than the disease!  Suitable for all ages.
