Highlights...Stelarc

Stelarc
Headlining the event will be internationally renowned body engineer and artist Stelarc. Stelarc is probably most famous for his third ear project, in which he grew an extra ear on his arm.
Stelarc will give an introduction to his artworks at 8pm and present a station exploring his other projects.

Body Modification
Explore the psychology and cultural implications of body modification from the socially accepted to the extreme. Test your own pain threshold and see live tattooing. The search is on for a volunteer willing to shave half their head (medium length hair needed!) during the evening. If you're up for the challenge, you'll be filmed with a thermal camera to investigate just how important our hair really is!

Life Drawing
15 minute life drawing workshops will run throughout the evening. See the human body in a fascinating new light and learn new drawing techniques.

Walking Skeleton
