A family party to celebrate ScienceFest’s closing weekend. Can you make square bubbles or turn a balloon into a helicopter? And why do jelly babies make good stuntmen? Come to the party and find out! You’ll even see a balloon animal safari and stand inside a giant bubble!

Explore their best bits from blowing them up to bursting them. Discover all the amazing things you can do with a few bubbles and balloons. Lots of audience participation!

Brainiac's most explosive TV scientist comes to Newcastle; testing innocent jelly babies to destruction, all in the name of science. It’s safer to use a jelly baby than a human being.
 
Phileas Flash balloon modeller
All Weekend
This safari explorer creates balloon animals the whole family will love and admire. He’ll be on hand all weekend to create a menagerie of balloon beasties for your little creatures.
 
Booking: No booking required, purchase tickets on the door. Suitable for everyone.
