There has been a great deal in the news about stem cells and their potential as new therapies. How much of it is true? Journalist and commentator, Quentin Cooper, chairs a panel discussion on the future of stem cells. Panellists include: Dr Ruth McKernan, Head of Pfizer's Regenerative Medicine Unit, who will explain the treatments that are likely to become available in the future, and Mr Francisco Figueiredo, who is looking at the possibility that stem cells could be used to cure blindness. An account of the evening will be illustrated live by graphic artist Nick Payne.
